Can you Kanoodle? Using combinations of colored connected beads, players complete colorful puzzles in two unique formats: tricky 2-D puzzles and twisted 3-D pyramids. To start, pick a design from the puzzle book, place some of the puzzle pieces into position as shown…then fill the empty spaces with the remaining pieces. Sounds simple? It can be…or it can be deviously difficult, depending on the level of game play. Hundreds of possible combinations, but only one completes the puzzle. Puzzle pieces fit inside the handy pocket-sized case with built-in game boards, so you can Kanoodle anywhere. Includes 12 puzzle pieces, 48-page illustrated puzzle book, and carrying case. For 1 player.

So I’m 23, and a graduate student of philosophy. I wanted to buy this cheap looking puzzle as a gift for my nephews. BUT, this is an absolutely fabulous game, I fell in love with it in minutes, completing the puzzles (especially 3-d ones) give an immense pleasure, and the very top level puzzles are not easy at all! I cannot imagine anyone, from an infant to a senior, not being glad for having a Kanoodle! And my first impression is that it would definitely improve the mental skills of young children.

Great puzzle game for kids, and adults too!

My 6 year old son saw this in his classroom and wanted to buy this. He was really excited to show me all the possibilities once he got it. So this was really worth it. In today’s world of video games, this is a throwback to a physical, logically stimulating puzzle games of the past. The construction quality is good. There are different types of puzzles you get to solve. And it is not easy. I tried building a pyramid after my son did one in about a minute. I spent 5 minutes trying before having to peak at the attached solution guide!

Great for a very wide range of ages!

I bought this to take to basketball tournaments to keep my youngest (7yrs, 1st grade) entertained during breaks between games. It has been a hit. I think many of my sons teammates (7th grade) even enjoy it. One of the players siblings (3rd grade) always hangs around and I can tell exactly what he wants. So when I ask do you want to play Kanoodle. It’s always YES! Great game for a very wide range of ages.

Great Calming or Focusing Activity

Even better than I’d hoped! I bought this to be a focusing exercise and calm-down activity for my kids with ASD, ADHD, OCD, and Learning Disability. It works for both of these purposes. The puzzles range from easy enough for my three year-old to figure out (once the field is set up for her)–so it isn’t too frustrating for a child who is melting down and already frustrated–to challenging enough that I haven’t yet been able to solve. It is smaller than it looks, but this makes it more portable. All the kids love it; I’m planning on buying a few more sets. The only things I wish it had are a tray to hold the pieces when using the 3D mode (to avoid loss of pieces if in the car or somewhere other than seated on the floor or at a table), and a larger diagram inside the case for putting the pieces away.

Great fun!

I bought this for our 9 year old. He enjoys it, and so have his siblings. They are finding it addictive and don’t want to stop solving the puzzles. I’ve been amazed at how good my 6 year old is with these puzzles. I have really been able to see how spatially gifted (or not) my individual children are with this toy. I highly recommend it.

My 9 years old sits for hours solving the puzzles…..I decided that if this captivated her for such an extended period of time, then I ought to figure out the dealio —- this game becomes challenging as you advance in levels. I’ve become addicted. I have to order another solitary brain game so we both can have our “brain game time”.

This game is great for a one-player game. We have an autistic child (high functioning, verbal) who is 4 years behind scholastically, yet many of the things he says are brilliant, so we got him this game and were amazed at how quickly he did the puzzles. These type of games are fantastic at developing motor skills and confidence. We simply opened the booklet for him and he was able to easy follow the diagrams and complete puzzle after puzzle.

I bought this because we are in doctor’s offices every week with my 7 year old, and as you can imagine, waiting in doctor’s offices gets pretty boring. This game is small enough to carry in my purse, and sturdy enough that he can do it on his lap. My 7 year old LOVES it, and I’d much rather him do this than play on my phone while waiting at his doctor’s office. Great purchase!

Different but not my favorite

I like the puzzle OK. It is small, about 2″ x 5″. I was happy to see that my five year old grandson enjoyed the puzzle. I did not expect that he would be able to maneuver the small pieces into place, but it wasn’t a big problem for him. He did drop several pieces on the tile floor but since they were very light plastic they were not damaged. The puzzle is appropriate for ages 5 to adult. The pyramid construction is especially challenging. I personally did not find the puzzle especially intriguing. If I was choosing one puzzle to buy I would get a wooden Soma Cube as it is a classic and looks great on the coffee table.
