Learning is tons of fun with the Drop and Go Dump Truck by VTech. Drop a colorful rock into the top of this cute toy dump truck, and watch it tumble into the bucket. Your little one will learn numbers as the interactive truck counts each rock. Once the rocks are in the bucket, push or pull the truck along to see the rocks rumble inside. Then, lift the hinged bucket to unload the rocks and start again while developing motor skills. The dump truck also includes 3 colorful buttons that play melodies, phrases and teach tools and colors. Requires 2 AAA batteries (batteries included for demo purposes only; new batteries recommended for regular use). Intended for ages 6 months to 3 years.

Received this a day earlier than expected. 9+ mo old grandson was captivated by it immediately (he loved the Amazon box, too LOL). He is too young to know how to pop the rocks into the bed of the dump truck but he puts them in the hole, turns it over and spins the wheels — he loves wheels. If I pop the rocks in, he pulls the bed back by hand to get them out — he doesn’t know how to use the lever. He can’t walk so he can’t pull the truck by the string but he laughs when I pull it and crawls after it. Love VTech because of the bells and whistles of sound and lights. We are such an electronic world and I like buttons to press for learning activities. Grandson has many VTech toys. It’s great to start babies out young (many he got months ago) because they can grow into the toys and go back to them. He has the laptop, remote control, sit to stand (all time favortie – love love love this one), Iphone, etc. Yes, the “rocks” have gone under the couch a few times but that’s OK – I fish them out. Today I put some of his other little toys in the back of the dump truck with the rocks. The Vroom Vroom sound is fun and I do that, too. I searched Amazon for a truck and decided on this one and am very happy with it. It is sturdy and something he will play with for a long time.

Great Beginner Toy // Good Price

This little truck is a great first toy. The balls go through the top of the truck and then roll into the yellow truck bed. The blue lever let you dump the rocks and start all over again. The truck sings a little song “I’m a powerful dump truck, I rumble down the road, moving my load from here to there”. I bought it for my son when he was 5 months old and he just chewed on the balls at that point. He then started pulling the rope and hitting the buttons. Definitely keeps his interest and is a great buy for the price.

Got this for a baby for her birthday because she loves balls and this game with 3 little balls / boulders. I made a good choice because she really loved it. She couldn’t stop playing with it and it kept her attention for a long time. The one issue was that once I used the leaver to offload the bin for the first time, it did or stay closed securely after that.

Great toy for toddlers!

This toy is so fun! It’s got several things that toddlers like – balls, buttons, moving parts, and a string to pull it. You put the balls in the hole in the top, which is great for fine motor development. My 18 month old nephew loved it, it was the only toy he played with at Christmas.

Sturdy, cute toy

My almost 2 year old loves this truck. He’s already dropped it numerous times so it’s sturdy and well made. He also loves being able to put the balls in himself and dump them.

This is an excellent toy for a baby and into a toddler. My baby started playing with this around 6 months old. It was quickly a favorite to push around and dump the balls out. At 13 months old it was still a favorite. Its now helping develop the motor skills to drop the ball in the top hole and how to pick them out of the dump truck bed.

Great price for a lot of fun!

My son loves this at 8 months. There is so much room for growth and discovery. Only down side is that when bucket is tipped to dump out rocks, it doesn’t go back down on its own. So his play becomes less about how the truck functions and more about making noises.

Get it.

Truth: a couple of the songs it plays are fairly annoying, but it does have two volume settings. I got this for my son at about 9 months and it quickly became his favorite toy. Still is at 17 months. Amazing bang for the buck.
